Mother's Day at the Great Wolf Lodge - WI Dells
As I was walking out the door for work Saturday morning, Pete informed me that we were going to the Great Wolf for Mother's Day. I actually tried to talk him out of it..... "we're going anyway in a few weeks, laundry to do, and with the price of gas..... blah, blah, blah" But lucky for me, he wouldn't take no for an answer. When I got home, the boys were packed and ready to go.... Fischer was already in his swim trunks, singing the swimming song.... there was no getting out of this one! We had a riot. Fischer is pure entertainment at this point. He can't get back to the top of the slides fast enough. Thanks to my boys for the perfect Mother's Day!
Rain or Shine
Of course it was raining the day Fischer came home to his new swingset! That didn't stop him though... we can't keep him off of this thing, he's in heaven!!
Grandma Nede's 60th Birthday
We surpised Nede this year on her birthday. Sean, Al, Drew and our troop hit the road on Saturday and went to Grandma Dory's. We waited there for Larry to bring Nede over.... much to her surprise, her 3 favorite boys were there! We had a great weekend.... good food, lots of laughs, and a beautiful afternoon for a hayride in the pasture. Fischer even got to put his feet in the creek, down where we used to camp when we were kids. It was the perfect birthday for Nede!
